2 Day Aletschglacier Glacier-trek
Each of these glacier treks is a moderate hike on the glacier. Each one is very unique in its scenery. On each trek we have dinner and spend the night in a Swiss Alpine hut. Each hike is 5-8 hrs. long and requires only a small backpack. On every hike we will be roped up.
Day 1
Meet at the Jungfraujoch, rope up and start the glacier hike down first on snow and then on the hard ice of the Aletschgletscher. We climb the famous stairs 499 steps up tot the Konkordia hut.
Day 2
Rope up and hike first on the hut trail and then on the glacier via west moraine down to Maerjelen lake to Fiesch/Kühboden were we take the tram and train back to Interlaken.
